If you can locate the body of water in the map tool, there's a good chance we can make it. Search by lake name or location, then position the map around the section you want. Private lakes, farm ponds, reservoirs, river bends and stretches of coastline all work the same way.

Your design begins with the map area you capture rather than a generic lake template — the shape comes from your actual water. We then review the design for details that may need to be adjusted for laser cutting.

It happens, and it's what the review step is for. Very small islands, extremely narrow channels and other delicate areas sometimes need minor adjustments so the sign can be cut and stay structurally sound. If an adjustment materially changes the design, we email you the revised version to approve before anything is produced.

Yes. Drop a marker on your property, your dock or any spot that matters, and add your family name or the lake name on a plate. That's usually the part people stand and look at.

Nothing is cut until the design is approved. A person reviews every order by hand, and if something needs to change to work in metal, we send you the updated version for sign-off first. Every order also comes with a link that reopens your exact design, so a change never means starting over.

Made and shipped within 7 business days, plus transit time to you. Two separate clocks, and it's worth knowing which is which: every sign is cut for one specific customer after the order is placed, and that build takes us up to seven business days. Carrier transit is on top of that, so the further you are from us the longer the second leg. You'll get tracking the moment it leaves. If you're working toward a birthday, a closing or a holiday, order with room to spare — and tell us the date so we can flag it.

Aluminum is a real advantage near water: it contains no iron, so it can't rust the way steel does. Each sign is finished by hand in the color you choose and sealed with a protective clear coat. Covered porches, boathouses and sheltered lakeside walls are all common placements. We don't rate them as weatherproof, though — any finish left fully exposed to sun and weather year-round will eventually show wear. If yours is headed somewhere harsh, tell us where before you order and we'll advise on the finish.

Flat is a single cut piece of aluminum on standoffs — clean and graphic. Layered adds a second panel behind it in a contrasting color, so the lake stands off the wall with real depth and a shadow line. Both are available in every size, and you can switch between them in the designer and watch the price update.
