Questions
Can you make my lake?
If you can locate the body of water in the map tool, there's a good chance we can make it. Search by lake name or location, then position the map around the section you want. Private lakes, farm ponds, reservoirs, river bends and stretches of coastline all work the same way.
What if the shoreline needs adjustment?
It happens, and it's what the review step is for. Very small islands, extremely narrow channels and other delicate areas sometimes need minor adjustments so the sign can be cut and stay structurally sound. Nothing is cut until a real person has reviewed your design, and if an adjustment materially changes it, we email you the revised version to approve first.
How long does it take?
Made and shipped within 7 business days, plus transit time to you. Two separate clocks, and it's worth knowing which is which: every sign is cut for one specific customer after the order is placed, and that build takes us up to seven business days. Carrier transit is on top of that, so the further you are from us the longer the second leg. You'll get tracking the moment it leaves.
Buying it as a gift?
Search their lake by name, mark their cabin or dock, and add their family name. If you'd like it sent to them, just enter their address at checkout.
How accurate is the shoreline?
Your design begins with the map area you capture rather than a generic lake template — the shape comes from your actual water. We then review the design for details that may need to be adjusted for laser cutting.
Can I mark my house or cabin on the sign?
Yes. Drop a marker on your property, your dock or any spot that matters, and add your family name or the lake name. That's usually the part people stand and look at.
Can the sign go outside?
Aluminum is a real advantage near water: it can't rust the way steel does. Each sign is built in two layers, finished by hand in the colors you choose and sealed with a clear coat, and it ships with mounting hardware. Covered porches, boathouses and sheltered lakeside walls are all common placements. We don't rate them as weatherproof — any finish left fully exposed year-round will eventually show wear, so tell us if yours is headed somewhere harsh.
